Police Report a Pair of Port Chester Burglaries

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. - The Port Chester Police Department received two burglary reports earlier this week, each reporting over $1,500 worth of goods stolen. Police also said there was no sign of forced entry in either case.

The first incident occurred on Saturday, January 21, at a Ballet Studio on 181 Westchester Ave. According to Lt. Jim Ladeairous, the tenants locked the studio at 8 p.m. on Friday and found around $1,700 of electronics missing when they returned the following morning. The police report indicates that the studio is missing four Bose speakers, two receivers, and two CD players.

At aproximately 9:30 p.m. Monday, January, 23, a Port Chester woman residing on Parker Street reported a burglary with no forced entry. The woman said one video console, one laptop, one video game console, video game controllers, and video games all missing, according to police records . The total estimate of the goods was $2,600.
