PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- It was a beach party all week at the Clay Arts Center in Port Chester and it was only for children. The center is hosting a series of five-day workshops mornings and afternoons, each focusing on a different theme. The summer program began June 27 and runs until August 26. Each workshop costs $260 regular price and $240 for members. Discounted prices are available for signing up for multiple workshops within the same week.

The center's summer camp programs are available to children across the county and in neighboring areas in nearby Connecticut."I like it so much," said Logan Bear, 8, who goes to Osborn School in Rye. "I want to come back next week."
