Anne O'Neill, 97, Longtime Port Chester Resident

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. – Anne Marie O'Neill of Port Chester died May 30. She was 97.

O'Neill was born April 10, 1915, in New York City to Pietro and Mamie Santasiero. She was raised in Port Chester. O'Neill was the widow of Anthony Marzano and Michael O'Neill, who predeceased her in 1985. 

She worked as a nurse's aide at United Hospital before working for the Westchester County Parks Department at Rye Playland. 

O'Neill is survived by a daughter, Theresa Navarro (Tom) Vita, of Bedford; two sisters, Marie Civitella, of Georgia, and Jean Cipriano, of Waterbury, Conn.; and three grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, William Marzano; five brothers, Andrew Santasiero, Frank Santasiero, Frank Gravina, Andrew Gravina and Vincent Gravina and two sisters, Millie Gravina and Lucy Claps. 

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday at Craft Memorial Home in Port Chester. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. on Saturday at Corpus Christi Church in Port Chester. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rye Brook.
