Rye Ridge Shopping Center Lands Balducci's Food Lover's Market

RYE BROOK, N.Y. -- Balducci’s Food Lover's Market has signed a long-term lease for over 18,000 square feet of the space vacated by D’Agostino at the Rye Ridge Shopping Center in June 2015.

The space once occupied by D'Agostino has now been leased to Balducci's Food Lover's Market. The new store is expected to open in the fall.

The Rye Brook location will join Balducci’s regional locations in areas such as Westport, Greenwich and Scarsdale.

The new store is expected to open this fall.

“The inclusion of a superior specialty gourmet grocer like Balducci’s was needed to complete the transition of the shopping center and will benefit the community for a very long time,” said Craig Samson, senior vice president of Win Properties, which operates the Rye Ridge complex. “Our shoppers have many shopping options and we continually strive to give them the best selection of merchants, services and eating establishments so that they never have to go anywhere else.”

Louis Balducci, an Italian immigrant, opened the first Balducci’s storefront in New York City in 1972.

With the new facility, the chain now operates nine stores throughout New York, Connecticut, Maryland and Virginia.
