MTA Chief Will Unveil Transit Plan At Westchester Business Council Meeting

RYE BROOK, N.Y. -- Thomas Prendergast, Metropolitan Transportation Authority Chairman and chief executive officer, will reveal the newly-enacted, $700 million transit plan to connect Westchester to the Bronx at the Business Council of Westchester's Political Leadership Series Event on July 15.

“We are delighted that Thomas Prendergast has agreed to discuss this game-changing MTA plan with our members,” said Marsha Gordon, president and chief executive officer of The Business Council of Westchester. “The growing importance of transportation to commercial and residential development, as well as the Westchester economy, makes this Political Leadership Series event extremely relevant to the county business community.”

The presentation will take place in the fifth-floor auditorium at 800 Westchester Ave. in Rye Brook from 8 to 9:30 a.m. 

Admission is $25 for members and $30 for future members. Continental breakfast will be served.
