Fire Destroys One School Bus, Damages Others In Northern Westchester A bus was destroyed and two others damaged when a two-alarm fire ripped through a bus storage and repair garage in Yorktown Heights. The fire was reported at 5:09 p.m. Wednesday at the Baumann & Sons Bus Corporation at 1701 Front St., according to the Yorktown Heights Volunteer Fire Department. In addition to damaging the buses, the fire also damaged part of the repair area of the garage and the structure sustained heavy damage as a result of the fire, the fire department reported.
