Among the outlet’s list of the 50 best places to travel in 2023 is Long Island’s Riverhead. Former Yale Med School Employee Admits Stealing, Selling $40 Million In Electronics
A former Yale University School of Medicine employee has admitted to stealing $40 million in computer and electronic hardware from the university. Jamie Petrone, age 42, pleaded guilty on Monday, March 28, to wire fraud and filing a false tax return, according to Leonard Boyle, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut. Petrone is a former resident of Naugatuck in New Haven County, and she currently resides in Georgia, Boyle said. Denise Marie Martabano Lupia (nee Edman) of Winter Park, FL passed away peacefully with a smile on her face on February 21, 2022 with her husband David Lupia by her side. She was 63 years old. She was born in Kingston, NY on July 1, 1958 to Donald and Noel Edman. Denise was the eldest of five children and grew up in Katonah. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has advised against travel to Canada due to the risk of COVID-19. The CDC added Canada to its list of countries that are considered "Very High" risk for COVID-19, the highest level of risk for COVID-19. According to The Hill, the update was made to the agency's travel guidelines on Sunday, Jan. 9. New projected snowfall totals have increased for a winter storm that is threatening to make for a potentially hazardous morning commute. The time frame for the storm is overnight Thursday, Jan. 6, into Friday, Jan. 7.
