Man Killed After Car Crashes Into Tree
A 68-year-old man killed during a single-vehicle crash has been identified. Alfredo Torres-Trinidad of Middletown was killed around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 1 in a crash in Orange County, said New York State Police. According to police, Torres-Trinidad died at the scene after losing control of his vehicle and crashing into a tree on Sarah Wells Trail, in Hamptonburgh.

Head-On Rollover Crash Injures Three In Carmel
A rollover crash in Putnam County left three people hospitalized following a head-on collision in Carmel. First responders were dispatched to Drewville Road at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 23, police said. Two were transported to Putnam Hospital, and a third was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center following the crash with non-life-threatening injuries. Police said that the crash is currently under investigation by the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office and Carmel Police Department. No cause for the crash has been released. ID Released For Woman Killed In I-287 Crash
An area woman was killed after slamming into the back of a parked construction vehicle on I-287. Patricia Jimenez-Gaylor, 49, of Mamaroneck, was killed around 1:27 a.m. Monday during a three-vehicle crash, said New York State Trooper Michael Cassella. The investigation revealed that a 2018 Nissan SUV being operated by Jimenez-Gaylor, was traveling eastbound in the left lane of I-287, in the City of White Plains. when she hit the back of a 1991 Ford F550. Three Teens Hospitalized After Car Overturns In Northern Westchester Crash
Three teenagers were hospitalized after the car they were in was hit by another vehicle in Northern Westchester. The crash occurred around 7 p.m. Friday between Short Hill Road and Croton Avenue in Cortlandt. The three were extricated and transported to Westchester Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. The Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department, Croton EMS, Ossining EMS and the Cortlandt Regional Paramedic all responded.

Woman, 37, Identified As Victim Of Fatal Crash Involving Motorcycle, Car
The 37-year-old woman killed in a crash between a motorcycle and vehicle near the Northern Westchester/Putnam border has been identified. The crash occurred around 6 p.m. Friday on Route 6 (East Main Street) in Cortlandt when the motorcyclist collided with a car driven by an unidentified man making a turn onto the ramp to the Bear Mountain Parkway. Two Extricated, One Seriously Injured In Sprain Parkway Crash
A large team of first responders were able to extricate two people following a serious crash on the Sprain Brook Parkway. The crash, which occurred around 3:41 p.m. Wednesday on the Sprain near Jackson Avenue and the Greenburgh/Yonkers border, left two people trapped, with one seriously injured, said the New York State Police. Man Killed, Woman Airlifted To Westchester Medical Center In Head-On Crash
One motorist was killed and another seriously injured late Wednesday night in a head-on crash in Orange County. A 1993 pickup truck was heading westbound on Route 207 (Little Britain Road) in the area of the Rock Tavern Post New Windsor and crossed into the eastbound lane and stuck a 2012 Toyota Camry at approximately 11:22 p.m., police said. Man Killed In Northern Westchester Head-On Crash
A man was killed on Monday morning in a head-on crash on Route 202 in Yorktown. The collision at approximately 7 a.m. left the second driver with non life-threatening injuries, police said. One of the drivers reportedly veered into the wrong lane, leading to the crash. The crash temporarily shut down Route 202 between Garden Lane and Pine Grove Court for several hours. ID Released For BMW Motorcycle Driver Killed In Northern Westchester Crash
The 38-year-old man operating a 2014 BMW motorcycle who was killed in a crash with an SUV in Northern Westchester on Friday afternoon has been identified. At approximately 2:15 p.m., Daniel J. Thiel of Sandy Hook, CT, was operating the motorcycle on Route 121 in Lewisboro when he struck another vehicle, a 2014 Acura MDX, at the intersection of Route 138, state police from the Somers barrack said. Six Injured In Saw Mill River Parkway Crash
SIx people sustained injuries in a crash on the Saw Mill River Parkway when a car struck a guardrail, leading to a chain collision in Westchester.
