Lane Closure: Route 9A To Be Affected For Months In Mount Pleasant An upcoming lane closure is set to affect traffic on a stretch of a busy state route in Northern Westchester for several months.  A single lane of State Route 9A in both directions in Mount Pleasant between Beverly Road and Old Saw Mill River Road will close beginning on Wednesday, July 5 at 11:59 p.m., according to the New York State Department of Transportation.  The closure will last through Thursday, Nov. 30. The reason for the extended lane closures is to allow for a widening of the roadway, officials said.

Motorists should plan to follow the posted detour, using State Route 100C and State Route 9A to I-287, officials said.

Expect Delays: Officials Announce Upcoming Closures On Stretch Of Saw Mill River Parkway State officials are advising motorists to expect delays as a stretch of the Saw Mill River Parkway is set to close nightly in both directions to facilitate construction work. The New York State Department of Transportation made an announcement on Thursday, April 28, that the parkway will be closed between Exit 12 (Farragut Parkway) in Hastings-on-Hudson and Exit 17 (Ashford Avenue) in Dobbs Ferry.  The closures will take place each night from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday, May 2, through Thursday, May 5.
