Man Charged With Choking Victim In Bed With Two Children, Police Say A man is facing charges after police say he choked a victim who was in bed with two children in the area. New York State Police say they were dispatched to a Putnam County residence on Sprout Brook Road in the town of Philipstown on the report of a domestic dispute on Saturday, May 11. Further investigation revealed that 43-year-old Luis K. Urbina of Philipstown choked the victim, who had been in bed with two children at the time, police said. Urbina was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child and criminal obstruction of breath,  both class A misdemeanors. Urbina…

Four Westchester Residents Charged With DWI In State Police Stops More than a dozen motorists were removed from the road by New York State Police troopers in the Hudson Valley this past weekend. Those charged include:  Westchester County On Friday, April 26, State Police from Hawthorne arrested Derek C. O’Donnell, 40, of Yorktown, for DWI. He was traveling on the Taconic State Parkway in Yorktown, when he was involved in a three-car personal injury motor vehicle crash.
