Woman Airlifted To Westchester Medical Center After Crash Between Car, Tractor-Trailer
A Hudson Valley woman was seriously injured following a crash with a tractor-trailer.
The crash took place in Orange County around 11:15 a.m., Thursday, June 1 in the town of Newburgh.
According to Lt, Peter Talarico, of the town of Newburgh Police, officers on the scene found an accident involving a 2008 Infinity and a 2002 tractor-trailer.

An investigation is underway after two female drivers were killed in a crash in the Hudson Valley.
It happened just before 10:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29 in Orange County in the Town of Newburgh.
The vehicle, a 2018 Jeep Wrangler, was observed on Main Street by Walden Police and was subsequently stopped, according to state police, who noted that Town of Montgomery Police stopped to assist at the scene.

Man Airlifted Following Crash With Driver Speeding, Passing Cars, Police Say
A man was airlifted to the hospital after another vehicle illegally passed his car causing a rollover crash and then fled.
The incident took place in Putnam County around 9:40 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, on Route 52 in Carmel, said Lt. John Dearman of the Carmel Police.
According to Dearman, several witnesses reported that a black Cadillac passed vehicles in a no-passing zone southbound on Route 52.

Motorist Killed After Crashing Into Pillar In Front Of Hudson Valley Deli
A 63-year-old man died after losing control of his vehicle and striking a pillar in front of a Hudson Valley deli, according to police in Putnam County.
Edward Collins, of Holmes, a hamlet in the Town of Pawling, died around 7:30 a.m. Monday on Route 52, at Towners Road, after striking the pillar in front of Gino's Grab & Go Deli, said Kent Police Chief Alexander DiVernieri.
According to the chief, Collins was driving a 2004 Saturn south on Route 52 when he crossed into the northbound lanes, going off the roadway, and hit the pillar.
