Overturned Vehicle Closes Both Directions Of Busy Northern Westchester Road A crash involving an overturned vehicle has left all lanes of a busy Northern Westchester roadway closed.  The crash happened on Thursday, Dec. 5 at around 5:15 p.m., when a vehicle flipped on Route 22 in North Salem between Sun Valley Drive and Sun Valley Heights Road near Interstate 684, according to reports.  The incident has left both directions of Route 22 closed.  The crash caused injuries, according to preliminary reports. Lane Reduction To Slow Traffic On I-684 In North Castle: Here's Where Traffic on a stretch of I-684 in Westchester and Fairfield counties is set to be affected by a series of lane reductions, officials announced.  Both directions of Interstate 684 in North Castle and Greenwich, between Exit 2 (Route 120) and Exit 3 (Route 22) will be reduced to one lane on Wednesday, Sept. 4, and Thursday, Sept. 5, the New York State Department of Transportation announced.  The lane closures will be put into place between 8 p.m. on Wednesday and 5 a.m. on Thursday.  The traffic impacts will allow crews to perform bridge work, officials said.

Remains Found Near Route 22 Diner Linked To Woman Who Went Missing A human skull and skeletal remains found by a hunter near an area diner are believed to belong to a woman who went missing in 2017. The remains, which were discovered in Putnam County behind the Putnam Diner on Route 22, in Patterson could be those of Lealcria DeLima, 53, of Danbury. DeLima was last seen on Friday, Oct. 20, 2017, leaving home in a 2016 red Honda after telling her two children that she loved them and was going to a local Walmart to pick up a prescription, said Danbury Police at the time.
