Cause Of Death Under Investigation For Northern Westchester Man After Cops Shot During Standoff
A man is dead and two officers were hospitalized after being shot during a 12-hour standoff in Northern Westchester. At about 12:20 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, the New York State Police responded to a residence in the Town of Cortlandt on Quaker Bridge Road in the village of Croton-on-Hudson for a report of a barricaded subject armed with a gun. Man With Shotgun Takes His Own Life In Area, Police Say
A man is dead after taking his own life following a police-involved incident in the area. At about 10:25 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, in Putnam County, the town of Kent Ambulance along with the EmStar medic were dispatched to Pudding Street in the Town of Putnam Valley for a male with chest pain, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office said. Westchester Man Who Threatened Mother, Children With Shotgun Arraigned
The man who terrorized his family with a shotgun and forced police to rescue his family during an armed standoff in Westchester has been formally arraigned following Wednesday’s incident. Port Chester resident Abe Massa, 29, has been charged with reckless endangerment after threatening his family with a shotgun, firing it in front of his mother and pointing it at her on Oct. 10.
