Vehicle Shot On Busy Stretch Of Route 22 An 18-year-old who was target shooting on a busy area roadway allegedly hit a vehicle on the highway as it passed by has been arrested, according to police. The incident took place on Friday, April 16, in Putnam County. State Police received a complaint from a driver that while driving on State Route 22 in the town of Patterson heard three to four loud pops, said Trooper AJ Hicks. Man Caught With Counterfeit Money, Illegal Weapon In I-84 Stop New York State Police troopers seized more than $5,000 in counterfeit cash, drugs and an illegal weapon during a traffic stop on I-84 in Putnam County. Shortly before 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 12, troopers conducted a traffic stop of Bronx resident Anthony Smith’s 2018 Kia Optima when he committed a vehicle and traffic law violation on the interstate. During the stop, it was determined that the 26-year-old was driving his vehicle with more than three suspensions on his license and he was allegedly in possession of Oxycodone pills.
