Film Shoot For TV Series To Take Place Near Westchester Eatery An all-day film shoot for an upcoming television series will soon occur in front of a Westchester coffee shop and part of a much-used parking lot.  City officials announced that the shoot, for an upcoming Apple+ series called "Swipe" starring Emmy Award-winning actor Jon Hamm, will take place in Rye on Wednesday, July 17, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in part of the Highland parking lot and a portion of Car Park 4 next to School Street.  The film crew will use 35 spaces in the northeast section of Car Park 4 and four spaces directly in front of Sunshine Coffee Roasters at 12 Purdy Ave.&nb…

Woman Jumps From Bridge Near Northern Westchester Train Station A woman was injured after jumping from an overpass near a Northern Westchester train station, police said. The incident happened on Sunday evening, June 23, when a woman jumped from the Route 117 overpass and landed in a Metro-North parking lot near the Bedford Hills station, according to the Bedford Police Department.  The woman survived the jump but was injured and taken to the hospital, police said, adding that she suffered broken bones.
