Student Sexually Assaulted At Gunpoint At Her Yale University Residence, Police Say A Yale University student was sexually assaulted after waking up to find an unknown man pointing a gun at her. The incident took place around 2 a.m., Tuesday, May 9, on the 300 block of Elm Street in New Haven. Yale Police Chief Anthony Campbell said a graduate student was asleep in her residence when she awoke to an unknown male pointing a gun at her.  The man sexually assaulted her and fled the residence, the chief said.
