One Killed, Three Hospitalized In Head-On Crash Between SUV, Van In Area One person was killed and three others were hospitalized with injuries after a head-on crash between an SUV and van in the area. It happened at approximately 8:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 29 on Route 55 between Route 216 and Gardner Hollow Road Extension in the Town of Beekman. An initial investigation has revealed that the operator of a Honda Pilot, traveling westbound on Route 55, crossed into the eastbound lane of Route 55 and collided head-on with a Chevy Express van, said Lt.
