A driver was rescued from their car and taken to a hospital after striking a utility pole in Northern Westchester, causing live power lines to fall on their vehicle. The crash happened on Monday, June 17 around 2 p.m., when a vehicle struck a utility pole on Knowlton Avenue in Mount Kisco, according to the Mount Kisco Volunteer Fire Department. A Western Massachusetts duo caught in a vehicle stolen from Connecticut were both apprehended following an extensive pursuit in New York, police announced. Felon Sentenced To 40 Years To Life For Attempting To Stab Westchester Cop
A lifetime criminal from Mount Vernon may spend the rest of his life behind bars after being sentenced to a term of between 40 years and life in prison for attempting to stab a Westchester County Police officer who intervened when he tried to steal rims from a Mount Kisco car dealership.
