Roommates Arrested After Dispute Gets Physical, Sheriff Says A pair of roommates are facing charges after an incident between the two turned physical in Kent. Members of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a residence in Kent at approximately 1:20 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 5. Three Sheriff Deputies responded to the scene, and their investigation led to the arrests of Victor Briccetti, 54, and Daniel Cutler, 46, both Kent residents. Briccetti was charged with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor, and Cutler was charged with harassment, a violation. Man Charged With DWI After 100 MPH Chase Ends With Crash In Route 22 Pond A 32-year-old man is facing multiple charges after taking a Putnam County Deputy Sheriff on a high-speed chase in excess of 100 mph before coming to a crashing halt through a guardrail and into a pond. Putnam County Sheriff Robert Langley announced the arrest of Brewster resident Mercer Given following the wild chase, which started on Route 22 near the intersection of Route 312.
