Man Pushes Shopping Cart Into Woman's Leg During Northern Westchester Dispute, Police Say
Police have charged a man who allegedly shouted profanities at a woman at a local supermarket and struck her with a shopping cart. Investigators from the Yorktown Police Department received a walk-in report from a woman on July 6 who stated that a dispute at DeCicco Family Market in Jefferson Valley turned physical, prompting an investigation. Police said that the investigation found that Shrub Oak resident Joseph Mazzei, 69, allegedly yelled profanities at the woman before allegedly pushing a shopping cart into her leg.
