Wrong-Way Driver In Head-On Bronx River Parkway Crash Was Drunk, Police Say Westchester County Police arrested a 40-year-old man on Sunday night after he drove the wrong way on the Bronx River Parkway in Eastchester and slammed head-on into another car. The incident occurred shortly before 11 p.m. when Joseph Ayala of Yonkers, who was alone in his car, drove his 2015 Cadillac Escalade southbound in the northbound lanes of the Bronx River Parkway, said  Kieran O'Leary, spokesman for the Westchester County Police.
