Duo Steals Wallet At Northern Westchester Walmart, Police Say Police are looking for two suspects who they say stole a wallet at a Walmart in Northern Westchester.  The wallet, which contained financial cards, personal ID including a passport, and cash, was stolen at the Walmart in Mohegan Lake at 3133 East Main St. (Route 6) on Sunday, Dec. 18, according to an announcement by state police from Wednesday, Jan. 18.  In photos taken from security footage, the suspects are seen wearing dark-colored hoodies and driving a grey or silver SUV that is possibly a Honda CRV with unknown registration. 1-Year-Old Boy, Woman Killed In Horrific Two-Vehicle Route 9 Crash A 1-year-old infant and a 48-year-old woman were killed in a two-vehicle crash on a busy stretch of Route 9. The crash took place around 3:30 p.m., Monday, March 1, on Route 9 in Wappingers Falls, in the area of New Hackensack Road, said New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks.  An initial investigation revealed a 2017 Honda CRV, driven by Loraine Baker, age 48, of Poughkeepsie, was southbound on Route 9 and rear-ended a southbound 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer, Hicks said. Know Them? Police Search For Duo After Car Stolen In Northern Westchester With Keys In Ignition Know them or this car? New York State Police investigators in Northern Westchester issued an alert as they look to identify two suspects who allegedly stole a car that was left unlocked with the keys in the ignition. Police said that a 2018 Honda CRV was stolen from a parking area on Titicus Road in North Salem. The vehicle was later recovered by investigators on Peach Lake Road. According to police, the investigation found that the two suspects later traveled to Walmart in Branford, Connecticut, where they were caught on camera.
