Potential Rabies Exposure Warning Issued In Hudson Valley Community
Health officials are warning residents of potential rabies exposure from a cat that has tested positive in a Hudson Valley municipality. The incident took place in Rockland County in Monsey. Residents who live in a specific area of Monsey may have been exposed to the cat that has been confirmed to have rabies, said Rockland County Executive Ed Day and County Health Commissioner Dr. Patricia Schnabel Ruppert. 19: School District In Hudson Valley Extends Remote Learning
A Hudson Valley school district near one of the state’s largest COVID-19 clusters will be keeping students out of the classroom longer to avoid the spread of the virus. Interim East Ramapo Schools Superintendent Ray Giamartino said that all schools in the district will extend its remote learning for the next two weeks, through at least Monday, Oct. 26. School District In Westchester Closes After Parent In Healthcare Field Is Quarantined
A school district has become the second in Westchester and third in the Hudson Valley to close after a parent with flu-like symptoms has been quarantined.
