Orange County resident Jack Braun of Slate Hill, a hamlet of Wawayanda, died in Sullivan County around 1:30 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 22, on Route 17 West in Mamakating in a single-vehicle crash.

A lifelong resident in the region who worked for nearly two decades at an area surgical center has died at the age of 58.
Dutchess County resident Elizabeth "Tiki" Rodgers, of Hyde Park, died unexpectedly on Sunday, May 29, in Poughkeepsie, according to her obituary.
She was born in Poughkeepsie and graduated from Poughkeepsie High School.
Rodgers worked for Dutchess Dutchess Ambulatory Surgical Center for nearly 20 years, her obituary said.

A lifelong Hudson Valley resident, who worked as a freelance photographer and a carpenter, has died unexpectedly at age 27.
Putnam County resident Ryan Daly, of Mahopac, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 11, according to his obituary.
Daly was born in North Tarrytown, and he was a graduate of Mahopac High School with the class of 2012, his obituary said.
He went on to earn a bachelor's degree at Savannah College of Art and Design.

Lifelong Northern Westchester County resident and longtime highway supervisor Drew Allan Outhouse died on Sunday, July 11, at the age of 73.
Outhouse lived in North Salem and was a graduate of North Salem High School, according to his obituary.
He worked as the highway superintendent for the Town of North Salem for 30 years, and he retired in 2009. Additionally, for more than 46 years, he was a member of the Croton Falls Fire Department.

Funeral Services Announced For Longtime Police Officer Killed In Northern Westchester Crash
Funeral arrangements have been announced for a longtime Putnam County Sheriff's deputy who was killed in a double-fatal crash in Northern Westchester.
Michael J. Moore, 50, of Mahopac, was killed around 6 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 25 on Route 6N, said Yorktown Police.
When police and fire officials arrived on the scene, they found Moore, who was the driver of one of the vehicles, dead.
Denise Ryan, 56, also of Mahopac, the driver of the second vehicle, was found injured and transported to Westchester Medical Center where she succumbed to her injuries, police said.
