UPS announced that it is opening a new facility in Yonkers that will bring dozens of jobs to the area as the holiday season rolls around. The package operation is expected to open up on Tuckahoe Road in the next two or three weeks, the company said, creating full and part-time positions in the area for local residents. Jobs will include package handlers and drivers. As of Thursday, Nov. 1, there are 658 jobs available through UPS in New York, from drivers to mechanics.
