Woman Killed In Hit-Run After Tripping, Falling Into Road In Westchester: Suspect In Custody A suspect has been apprehended in connection with a Westchester hit-run that left a 35-year-old woman dead, police announced. The arrest stemmed from an incident on Monday, April 8 just before 5 a.m., when a victim was struck on Buena Vista Avenue between Main Street and Dock Street in Yonkers, according to Yonkers Police. Arriving first responders found an unconscious woman in the street and tried saving her life before rushing her to a nearby hospital.
