Person Hospitalized After Being Struck By Car In Northern Westchester A person was hospitalized after being hit by a car in Northern Westchester.  The incident happened on Monday, Feb. 13 around 3:15 p.m., when police in Peekskill responded to the intersection of Hudson Avenue and Depew Street, where a car had hit the pedestrian, Lieutenant Adam Renwick said.  The pedestrian was then taken to Westchester Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.  The driver of the vehicle was issued multiple tickets following the incident, Renwick said.  Members of the local community organization Peekskill Walks commented on the incide…

Maintenance Work Will Shut Off Water Service In This Northern Westchester Locale, Officials Say Upcoming maintenance work will shut off water mains for the majority of the day in a Northern Westchester city, officials said.  Starting on Wednesday, Dec. 14 through Friday, Dec. 16, the Peekskill Water Department will begin valve replacement work on South Street and Depew Street, according to city officials.  The work will require shutting off water mains from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., which may affect water service for residents, officials said.  Some of the effects include low to no water pressure as well as discolored water, according to city officials.  The effects shou…
