Northern Westchester Woman Caught After Escaping Court Custody, Police Say
A 25-year-old Westchester woman attempted to flee from the Town of Cortlandt Court custody this week after being remanded to the Westchester County Jail, a New York State Police spokesperson said. State Police troopers were dispatched to the Town of Cortlandt Court on Monday afternoon, where there was a report of a woman fleeing the custody of court officers.
