Knife-Wielding Man With Order Of Protection Against Him Assaults 2 In Hudson Valley, Police Say A knife-wielding man was apprehended after allegedly physically attacking two people with an order of protection in place in the region. The incident took place in Dutchess County around 1:10 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 16 on Oniontown Road in the town of Dover. According to Trooper AJ Hicks, state police responded to a home in Dover for a report of domestic violence. An investigation found that Jospeh Hoffman, age 28, of Dover, physically assaulted two victims while armed with a knife and had an order of protection against him in place, said Hicks. Man Charged With Choking Victim In Bed With Two Children, Police Say A man is facing charges after police say he choked a victim who was in bed with two children in the area. New York State Police say they were dispatched to a Putnam County residence on Sprout Brook Road in the town of Philipstown on the report of a domestic dispute on Saturday, May 11. Further investigation revealed that 43-year-old Luis K. Urbina of Philipstown choked the victim, who had been in bed with two children at the time, police said. Urbina was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child and criminal obstruction of breath,  both class A misdemeanors. Urbina…
