Two men face charges after allegedly hitting a victim in the head several times in front of a 4-year-old child at a sports complex in Northern Westchester, police said.
The two suspects, Peekskill residents Luis Paredes, age 24, and Carlos Contreras, age 23, were both arrested on Thursday afternoon, June 15 on charges stemming from an incident that happened earlier in the month, according to Yorktown Police.

Man Convicted For Murders Of Mother, Daughter In Hudson Valley
A Hudson Valley man has been convicted of murdering his ex-girlfriend and her mother.
A Rockland County jury found Robert C. Williams III, age 32, of Hillcrest, guilty on all charges, including first-degree murder Tuesday, April 19.
Prosecutors said Williams shot and killed Kathleen Castor, age 27, and Wanda Castor, age 63 at a home on Lake Road in Valley Cottage on Tuesday, May 26, 2020.
Kathleen Castor had an order of protection against Williams after their relationship ended, prosecutors said.
Her one-month-old baby was found alive and uninjured following the killings.

Rockland County resident Eric Tranholm, age 28, of Stony Point, was convicted by a jury on Wednesday, March 30.

An out-of-state man was nabbed for allegedly violating an order of protection in Northern Westchester.
Raphael Ayensu, 44, of Irvington, New Jersey, was arrested by Yorktown Police on Thursday, Jan. 7, after police responded to a call for the violation.
According to police, on Tuesday, Nov. 24, officers responded to a Yorktown residence and met with the victim who said that Ayensu had called the victim violating the protective order.

A suspect has been apprehended after a mother and her daughter were found shot to death at an area residence early last week.
The incident took place in Rockland County in a cottage in the rear of 104 Lake Road in Valley Cottage on Tuesday, May 26.
