A 22-year-old man who stole a vehicle during a test drive in another state was apprehended in Westchester and caught with credit cards and cell phones not belonging to him, police said. Victim's Cell Phone Stolen In Westchester Robbery: Suspect At Large
Authorities are searching for a man who forcefully stole a cell phone from a victim during a robbery in Westchester. The incident happened on Sunday, Feb. 11 around 3:45 a.m. in the area of Huguenot Street and Centre Avenue in New Rochelle, according to New Rochelle Police Captain J. Collins Coyne. At that time, the suspect engaged in a physical scuffle with the victim and took their cell phone. The victim later refused any medical attention, Coyne said. Police Looking For Man Who Stole Cell Phone From Parked Car In Westchester
Police are asking for help in identifying a man who they say stole a cell phone from a parked car in Westchester County. On Friday, Oct. 28 around 9:15 a.m., a man stole the phone from a car parked in Port Chester on lower King Street (Route 120A), according to police. The stolen cell phone has since been turned off, police said. In a photo released by police, the man is seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt. Westchester Detectives Awarded For Solving Multiple Cell Phone Thefts Across Hudson Valley
Two police officers in Westchester County were awarded for catching a suspect involved in numerous cell phone thefts across the Hudson Valley.
