Marketing Director From Hudson Valley Dies At Age 41
A marketing director who grew up in the Hudson Valley has died at the age of 41.
Connecticut resident Thomas Tavino, of West Hartford, died peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 4, according to his obituary.
Tavino was born in Putnam County, in the town of Carmel, and was a graduate of Brewster High School.
He earned a bachelor's degree from Marist College and went on to work as senior director of marketing for Takeda Pharmaceuticals, his obituary said.
"He was an avid Mets fan, he had a passion for cooking, and enjoyed golf and blackjack," his obituary reads.

Zachary Harrison Schwartz, of Brewster, who loved the game of baseball as well as other sports, died Sunday, Sept. 1 at age 14.
Zachary who was known as "Z" to his family and friends, fought a "courageous battle against leukemia," according to his obituary.
He was born May 28, 2005, in Danbury, the son of Marc and Joelle (West) Schwartz. He attended Brewster Schools.

Kathleen Clemens, Insurance Administrator In Westchester, Dies At 56
An insurance administrator in Westchester, 56-year-old Kathleen E. Clemens, died Thursday, Aug. 29 at Putnam Hospital Center.
Born on January 26, 1963, in the Bronx, daughter of the late Thomas R. Clemens and Kathleen V. (Cullen) Clemens of Brewster, she graduated from Brewster High School in 1981.
Clemens was an insurance administrator for Donnelly Insurance Center in Elmsford.
She enjoyed traveling, especially to Ireland, was an avid Rangers and New York Mets fan and also enjoyed looking into her family history and researching her ancestry.

Christopher May, 36, a longtime Rye resident died with his wife by his side on Tuesday, March 20, after a five year battle with cancer.
Born in Danbury, Conn., on March 31, 1981, May was a 1999 graduate of Brewster High School and continued his education at Carnegie Melon University receiving his bachelor’s degree.
