Astorino Gives Up Politics, Returns To Radio, TV Roots Former Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino said he’s giving up politics, for now.  The Republican who at one time wanted to be New York governor said he hopes to switch career paths and work in radio and television, in coverage related to politics or sports, his two great passions.
