Blaze Damages Apartment Complex In Northern Westchester
Firefighters battled a blaze that damaged multiple residences at a Northern Westchester apartment building. The fire happened at the Eagle Rock Apartments at Mohegan Lake on New Chalet Drive, the Mohegan Fire Department announced on Monday, Dec. 16. According to the department, arriving crews found a blaze in the apartment's cocklift void space and transmitted a 10-75. Three-Alarm Fire Forces Evacuation Of Westchester Apartment Building
A fire led to the evacuation of a Westchester apartment building, authorities announced. The three-alarm blaze broke out shortly before 5 a.m. in New Rochelle on Monday, Aug. 16 on North Avenue and The Boulevard, prompting an evacuation as crews went to work battling the blaze. Crews were able to quickly knock down the fire, which is believed to have originated in a third-floor residence before spreading. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation. No injuries were reported. Officials said that some residents should be able to return to their homes later on Monday.

13 Hospitalized After Apartment Fire Breaks Out In Westchester
More than a dozen people were hospitalized after an apartment fire broke out overnight in Westchester. The blaze broke out around 2:15 a.m. Saturday, June 5 in New Rochelle in a first-floor apartment fire at 75 Centre Ave. There was heavy smoke upon arrival by firefighters, with several people at windows in front of the building, and on fire escapes, New Rochelle FD Chief Andy Sandor said.
