Cobbs, a senior guard, scored 17 points in a 47-36 victory over Valhalla and led the Panthers with 18 points in a 46-26 win over Rye Neck.
"The team this year has made a big positive change from last year," Cobbs said. "The little things that coach (Myndi) Hill has us do is what has made this team good this year. We pick each other up when we're down, have good communication skills on the court and cheer while on the bench. We are not only a team. We have formed a family."
AnnMarie DiCarlo, Alicia Marino, Remi Manna and Courtney Sheehy have joined Cobbs in helping the Panthers to early-season success.
"We have entered almost every game this year being the underdogs, but we came out the winners," Cobbs said. "The team this year is tougher than the years before, and we are rising to the top in the years to come."
