Pace Remains Fourth in NCAA East Region Poll

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The Pace women’s basketball team stayed in the number four spot when the NCAA Regional Advisory Committee released its second NCAA East Region Poll of the season.

The top eight in the poll of 10 ranked teams will make the NCAA Division II tournament, which runs from March 9-12.

Pace finished the season at 19-7 overall and finished third in the Northeast-10 Conference with a 16-6 record. The Setters will host Assumption College in the quarterfinals of the Northeast-10 Championship on Sunday at 1 p.m.

The two teams split their regular season meetings. Pace won the last contest, 70-55, on Saturday.

Here are the top ten teams in the NCAA East Region Poll with their overall and in-region records, respectively.

  1. Bentley (23-3, 23-3)
  2. Southern Connecticut State (21-4, 20-4)
  3. Dowling (18-6, 18-6)
  4. Pace (19-6, 19-6)
  5. District of Columbia (20-4, 20-4)
  6. Franklin Pierce (17-8, 17-8)
  7. Assumption (17-8, 17-8)
  8. C.W. Post (19-8, 19-8)
  9. Southern New Hampshire (19-8, 19-8)
  10. Holy Family (20-7, 20-5)
