PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. Pace University will kick off its men and women basketball seasons with Midnight Madness on Tuesday, Oct. 16 after the Pace volleyball game scheduled for 7 p.m.
The event will feature team introductions, contests on the court, promotions and giveaways, including a chance for one fan to win $10,000 if he or she makes a half-court shot. The Pace cheerleading squad will also perform. One fan will also win a pair of Dre Beats headphones courtesy of the Pace University Counseling Center.
Midnight Madness is free and free food will be provided courtesy of Pace Athletics sponsors. Those in attendance will also receive a 2012 Pace Basketball T-shirt.
