This is the second time this season that Rubin has earned this award.
Rubin shined in two games for the Setters, averaging 17.5 points, six rebounds, two steals and two assists. Against Southern New Hampshire on Tuesday, she scored 16 points on 6-for-11 shooting with six rebounds, three assists, and a pair of steals. Then, at the Saint Anselm game on Saturday, Rubin recorded 19 points with six rebounds and two steals. She also shot 3-for-6 (50 percent) from behind the arc and a perfect 4-for-4 (100 percent) from the charity stripe in that contest.
Rubin ranks 22nd on the NE-10 scoring list while her 85.5 percent mark from the charity stripe ranks fourth in the NE-10. Additionally, she ranks 17th in the conference with a 34.9 percent mark from behind the arc while her 2.9 assists per contest leads the Setters and ranks 14th in the NE-10.
Rubin has climbed her way all the way up to seventh all-time amongst Pace freshman with 30 three pointers in her rookie campaign.
