Uday Sukhatme presided over the ceremonies, and several school officials offered brief remarks. Pace University President Stephen J Friedman also spoke.

The Trustees Award went to Charles R. Link, of the School of Education, the Community Service Award went to Alexander Saitta of the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences, and the Academic Leadership Award was given to Christopher J Arnold of the Lubin School of Business.

Barry Klarberg, 1981 graduate, received an honorary degree citation, Dr. of Humane Letters, for his contributions to education, business and society.
