Help 'Stuff A Bus' At Bedford Road School Rally

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- The Pajama Program's sixth annual "Stuff a Bus" event is holding a regional pep rally at the Bedford Road School as the community is encouraged to donate new pajamas and books for children in need.

It starts at 8:45 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 15 in the school's gymnasium, at 289 Bedford Road in Pleasantville.

Following the rally, members of the Student Council will "Stuff a Bus" with the donated items. Everyone will be wearing pajamas in honor of the program.

You can also donate to the cause at the following locations:

  • Aunt B’s - 10 percent off of a purchase if you bring a donation
  • The Village Bookstore
  • The Village of Pleasantville Recreation Center
  • Try & Buy toy store
  • Yes Nails (in the old village)
  • Yogalicious - 10 percent off of a purchase if you bring a donation

There are more than 62 places in Westchester where children are waiting for a new pair of pajamas and a nurturing book. The goal is to collect 5,000 new pajamas and books for kids of all ages and deliver them by Thanksgiving Day.
