Katonah Man Charged With DWI In I-84 Stop

Nearly two dozen motorists were removed from the roadway by New York State Police troopers recently for alleged impaired drivers.

Dutchess County

  • On Friday, April 12, State Police from Poughkeepsie arrested Sharon Y. Eady, 52, of Poughkeepsie, for Aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, a felony. She was traveling on Church Street in Poughkeepsie, when she was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Friday, April 12, State Police from Poughkeepsie arrested Christopher P. Taber, 26, of Hyde Park, for DWI. He was traveling on Noxon Road in Lagrange, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, April 13, State Police from Poughkeepsie arrested Damian Duguid, 41, of Poughkeepsie, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 55 in Poughkeepsie, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, April 13, State Police from Stormville arrested Patrick K. Eve, 36, of Beacon, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 52 in Fishkill, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, April 13, State Police from Dover Plains arrested Kenneth O. Lopez Ramos, 29, of Dover, for DWI. He was traveling on Route 22 in Dover, when he was reported by employees for sleeping in the parking lot a Mobil station after arrival. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, April 13, State Police from Rhinebeck arrested Adiana E. Clarke, 37, of Poughkeepsie, for DWAI Drugs with a prior conviction within ten years, a felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Use of a Vehicle without an Interlock Device, both misdemeanors. She was traveling on State Route 9G in Hyde Park, when she was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by drugs, possessed approximately 10mg of Diazepam, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, April 13, State Police from Dover Plains arrested Michael A. Hoffman, 23, of Millerton, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 22 in Amenia, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, April 14, State Police from Livingston arrested Tara C. Williams, 38, of Rhinebeck, for DWI. She was traveling on South Broadway in Redhook, when she was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, April 14, State Police from Dover Plains arrested Wilfredo F. Avila, 28, of Pawling, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 22 in Pawling, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, April 14, 2019, State Police from Wappinger arrested Shivinan Rajcumar, 32, of Wappinger, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 9 in Wappinger, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

Putnam County

  • On April 13, State Police from Brewster arrested David Bilichuk, 40, of Carmel, for Aggravated DWI Leandra’s Law, a class E felony. He was traveling on Main Street in Brewster, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol with children in the vehicle, and was subsequently arrested.

Westchester County

  • On Sunday, April 14, State Police from Brewster arrested Dorian J. Dorsey, 28, of Katonah, for DWI, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Resisting Arrest, all misdemeanors. He was traveling on Interstate 84 in Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, possessed concentrated cannabis, and had three of more suspensions on his license. Dorsey resisted, but was subsequently arrested.

Fairfield County

  • On Friday, April 12, State Police from Brewster arrested Barbara M. Hensel, 54, of Ridgefield, for DWI with a prior conviction within ten years, a class E felony. She was traveling on Danbury Road in Southeast, when she was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
