PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Margaret Borelli, of Pleasantville, died Thursday, Feb. 26, at home. She was 95.
Borelli was born May 8, 1919, to Frances and Angelo Greco.
She graduated from Pleasantville High School in 1937, married John Borelli in 1940 and started her career at Reader's Digest shortly thereafter, which spanned 39 years.
Borelli was predeceased by her husband, John. She is survived by her children, Carol Kelly and husband John, and Jack and wife Anne-Marie; six grandchildren, John, Diane, Pamela, Catherine, John and Marisa; five great-grandchildren, Colin, Alexandra, Jillian, Addison and Liam; her sister, Frances Bufo; and sister-in-law Sarah Christello.
Visiting hours are from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, March 1, at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home in Pleasantville.
A funeral Mass is set for Holy Innocents Catholic Church on Monday, March 2, at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Pleasantville Interfaith Food Pantry, courtesy of Holy Innocents Church.
