CHESTNUT RIDGE, N.Y. - Alice D. Lane, a longtime resident of Pleasantville, died Sept. 3. She was 93.
Lane was born Alice Margaret Donohue in Valhalla, she lived there until her marriage in 1947 to Benjamin F. Lane, Jr. Prior to her marriage, she worked primarily as an executive secretary at Walsh Construction, an international builder in New York City.
Lane is survived by her sons, Ben (III) and William; daughter, Joan Sandstrom (Robert) Sandstrom; and two grandchildren.
Calling hours are Thursday, Sept. 5 and Friday, Sept. 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Beecher Flooks Funeral Home in Pleasantville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7 at Holy Innocents Church, with interment at All Souls Cemetery.
