PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. Each week there are important meetings and events that occur in the Village of Pleasantville. These events can be great ways for residents to stay informed about local government and what happenings are occurring within the village. Here is a quick list of some of the events scheduled to take place this week.
The village Board of Trustees will meet at Village Hall Monday evening. This meeting will be the annual joint meeting between the trustees and the Pleasantville Board of Education and can be a great opportunity to stay involved in both the schools and the village. A public work session will be held at 7 p.m. and the regular meeting will be held at 8 p.m. For agenda information, visit the villages website.
On Wednesday, the villages Planning Commission will meet at Village Hall. On the agenda for Wednesday nights meeting will be a proposed new theatre on Tompkins Avenue which will house Little Village Playhouse and the Chappaqua Drama Group for their new combined theatre company, ARC Stages. The meeting is set to begin at 8 p.m.
On Thursday evening, the Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at Village Hall at 8 p.m. There are three items on the agenda for the Zoning Board of Appeals, which include residential and commercial modifications. For more agenda information, visit the villages website.
