Ware's daughter, a 16-year-old Pleasantville resident, was the driver in the accident on Aug. 30 last Labor Day weekend.
Ware pled guilty to three counts of involuntary manslaughter and three counts of reckless endangerment for letting his daughter drive his car, even though she was 15 at the time of the accident. Lasher's son, Ryan Lesher, was one of three boys killed in the crash, along with Shamus Digney and Cullen Keffer, who were also entering their sophomore years at Council Rock High School South.
The 54-year-old Ware read a statement of apology Thursday before the sentencing at Wayne County Courthouse in Pennsylvania.
"I cannot begin to say how sorry I am," Ware said. "Neither I nor my daughter meant any harm to anyone that day. May those boys rest in peace."
Robert Reno, Ware's attorney, called the sentence "ridiculous" and said they planned on appealing, according to WPVI-TV.
Ware's daughter was sentenced to probation and community service and ordered to pay thousands in restitution and write letters of apology.
