First Half of Pleasantville Taxes Due July 2

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - The first half of Pleasantville's village property taxes must be paid by July 2 to avoid any late penalties, according to Village Administrator Patti Dwyer.

The taxes are typically due July 1, but the date was moved to July 2 this year since July 1 is a Sunday, which is not a business day. The second half of the village's taxes are due Dec. 31.

According to the village, taxpayers are liable for their own bills and will be charged with penalties for any late payments by a bank or delivery by a postal service. Taxes can be paid by mail or at Village Hall, 80 Wheeler Ave. For questions regarding village taxes, call (914) 769-1997.
