PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- A developer proposed a new senior living center during a village Board of Trustees meeting on Monday, Oct. 27, according to theexaminernews.com.

The proposed facility would be located on the Jewish Child Care Association property on Broadway and would feature 100 independent living units, 50 assisted living units and 25 secured units reserved for patients with memory deficiencies, theexaminernews.com said. 

Brightview, the developer proposing the new facility, has not submitted a formal application and has said the board would have to approve a zoning change to move forward, theexaminernews.com reported.
