PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. During this holiday season, many churches throughout the village of Pleasantville will hold special Christmas services on Saturday and Sunday. These services include midnight mass along with candlelight services and are a great way for family and friends in the village to spend some time together. Below is a listing of schedule for the various Pleasantville churches. For more information, contact the respective churches directly.
The Holy Innocents Parish in Pleasantville will hold services on Saturday, Christmas Eve, at 4, 6, and 10 p.m. On Christmas morning, the parish will hold service at 7:30, 9, and 11 a.m. For more information, call the parish at 914-769-0025.
On Saturday, the Presbyterian Church of Pleasantville will hold a Christmas Eve family worship at 7 p.m. and candlelight worship at 11 p.m. On Sunday, the church will hold Christmas worship at 10 a.m. For more information, call 914-769-0458.
St. Johns Episcopal will hold two services on Saturday for Christmas Eve. At 4 p.m., there will be a family service and Christmas pageant. At 10 p.m. there will be a Rite II Eucharist with carols service. On Sunday, the church will hold a 10 a.m. Rite II Holy Eucharist Christmas service. Call 914-769-0053 for more information.
United Methodist Church in Pleasantville will hold a Christmas Eve service Saturday evening at 7 p.m. and will hold a joint ceremony at the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Pleasantville at 10 p.m. The Methodist church will then hold a Christmas Day service at 10 a.m.
