PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- The Westchester Community Foundation recently presented the documentary "Indian Point" at the Jacob Burns Film Center.
Directed by Ivy Meeropol, "Indian Point" is a complex look at the controversial power plant. The film features interviews with activists, energy company executives, environmentalists and plant employees.
Following the June 11 screening, Jacob Burns Film Center's Brian Ackerman led a panel discussion with Meeropol, activist Marilyn Elie, journalist Roger Witherspoon and Brian Vangor of Indian Point. The conversations continued in a reception at the Jane Peck Gallery.
"Indian Point" is the 17th film in the foundation's "Community Matters" series.
