Sukkoth Harvest Hoedown Tops Upcoming JCC Events

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- Celebrate the fall harvest holiday with the Rosenthal JCC community with a Harvest Hoedown Sunday.

Enjoy good food, entertainment and fun for the entire family. Day Rock, an interactive band, will be the entertainment. 

The Ga-Ga pit will be open for older kids to enjoy, and there is a playground for the younger ones. 

Pre-pay is $6/person, $20/family. At the door: $7/person, $25/family, 

There also will be a Columbus Day Mini Camp Monday, Oct. 12. Flexible hours are from 8:15 a.m. to 6 p.m. The JCC's Columbus Day mini-camp offers crafts and games, sports clinics and more.

Kids can play with their friends and make new ones. For the parents, there is flexible drop off and pick-up times.

Another class offered at the JCC is beginner conversational Hebrew for adults.

The class begins Thursday Nov. 5, and there will be eight sessions from 7–8:30 p.m. Cost is $160. Learn useful, everyday conversational words and phrases and practice answering and asking questions through interactive games, skits and songs.
